Challenge:

OpsMgr only allows members of the Operations Manager Administrators role to run management pack templates.  This is a challenge as an admin should be able to delegate and scope this ability to others.

Solution:

Enable 1 or more role types other than Administrators to run MP templates.  Probably "Authors".  Also allow the role to be scoped to particular templates.

Rating:

Severity - 3

This challenge can easily be worked around either by adding people to the admin role or, as and admin, doing the work one's self.  However, this can be a burden on the admin.

Applicability - 3

This suggestion would probably help large environments more than small environments since small environments are unlikely to have functional teams to handle MP manipulation.
