Alert: Run As Account does not exist on the target system or does not have enough permissions
Management Pack Name: SQL Server 2008 (Monitoring)
Management Pack Version: 18.104.22.168
Rule or Monitor: Rule
Rule or Monitor Name: Run As Account does not exist on the target system or does not have enough permissions
Rule or Monitor Notes: none
Issue: Alert Description: Management Group: ABC. Script: GetSQL2008DBFilesFreeSpace.vbs : Cannot login to database [servername][MSSQLSERVER:master]
It looks like a permission issue, but all RunAs accounts has all appropriate permissions in the
SQL Server instance and at the OS level.
SQL Server is under heavy load processing a cube. It’s low on memory and the script got a generic ‘access denied’ error when it tried to connect to the master database.
You can check and tune a SQL Server memory limits. OR you can add more RAM to this server. Also a SQL procedures\SSIS packages tuning could be a good idea.
