1. Introduction

1.1 About This Guide
This guide describes the steps required to successfully install Savision Community Reports Library 1.0.

1.2 About Savision Community Reports Library 1.0
Savision Community Reports Library 1.0 is a report library that can be installed on top of SCOM to provide additional reports above and beyond what is provided natively by SCOM.
This version provides a report (Service Level Agreement Overview) for providing visibility into service level agreements (SLA) for any SCOM group or distributed application (DA). This report provides enhanced SLA functionality above and beyond the SLA report provided natively in SCOM.
When the Service Level Agreement Overview report is used in conjunction with Savision Live Maps, additional visibility into service health is available. The report will provide SLA’s for end user, application, and infrastructure perspectives for each targeted Live Maps business service. 2. Software Requirements

2.1 SCOM Compatibility
Savision Community Report Library 1.0 has been built to function with the following versions of SCOM:
SCOM 2012 SP1

SCOM 2012 R2

SCOM 2016

2.2 Additional SCOM Requirements
The Operations Manager Reporting Server must be installed and configured within SCOM in order for this report to function.
SCOM groups and/or DA’s must be available as they are used as targets for the report. Additionally, Service Level Objectives must first be created against a group or DA in order for this report to function.

3. Installation

3.1 Download Savision Community Reports Library 1.0
The latest version of Savision Community Reports Library can be found here:
https://www.savision.com/free-management-packs/

3.2 Install Savision Community Reports Library 1.0
The following steps detail how to install Savision Community Reports Library 1.0 in your SCOM environment:
– Unpack the MPB file into any folder accessible from your SCOM Operations Console. NOTE: This does not need to be performed on a SCOM management server.
– Open the SCOM Operations Console.
– Navigate to the Administration workspace.
– Right click on the ‘Management Packs’ section, and select ‘Import Management Packs…’. Click on ‘Add’ and select ‘Add from disk…’.
– Locate and select the MPB from the first step.
A few minutes may be needed before you see the report in the SCOM Reports navigation tree. After performing these steps, a new report ‘Service Level Agreement Overview’ will be available under the folder ‘Savision Community Reports Library’.

3.3 Uninstall Savision Community Reports Library 1.0
The following steps detail how to remove Savision SLA Report for SCOM:
– Open the SCOM Operations Console.
– Navigate to the Administration workspace.
– Select ‘Management Packs’.
– Right click ‘Savision Community Reports Library’ and select ‘Delete’.
