UPD 11.04.2012

Sorry, no path to upgrade from 1.0.0.0 to version 1.0.0.1. You need to delete previous management pack and import new, rediscover all MSA2000 devices.
What’s new in this version:
– All scripts was stabilized;
– Improved Cookdown;
– Discoveries are corrected;
– New classes was added (I/O module, Expander ports);
– Script-based events. They have not so cool feature – event code showed in Log Name, this cased by not properly display data of description in console. If you don’t want to collect events just disable the HP MSA2000 Collect Event rule.
– Alert rules with big knowledge base.
If you have some troubles or questions, send me your XMLs from MSACLI.exe to bobgreen(at)mail(dot)ru.

    Hi Bobgreen,

    Ive been trying to get you MP to work without any luck. Ive got Ops2012 (which might be the problem right there) and I can get the MSA to discover along with the system information. But no other components of the MSA are being discovered and there is no performance data, can you assist at all?

    Cheers
    Zak

    Hello,

    What are the settings for the credentials?

    I have a local account on the P2000 with SMI-S enabled but when launching HP Storage Management Pack User Configuration tools it does not work. Still asking for an account:

    “Please enter the UserName os the SMI-S Provider of the Storage System that needs to be discovered”

    What permissions, settings? does this account need?

    Thanks,

    Dom
