    We installed the SCCM 2012 SP1 client on all of our compatible HPUX and Linux (RHEL) servers. Installation seemed to go fine, clients reported in as being active and having a client installed. After a few days, it seems the clients stop checking in, even though they are still running. Once this happens they become Inactive and also somehow seem to look as if no client is installed, ie. the Client column display ‘No’. If our *nix admins stop/restart the clients, that usually brings them “back”, but eventually they “go away” again.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

  • I’ve been looking at the Resource Explorer, specifically the Processor information, for several physical servers, and I’ve noticed that the Socket Designation column is blank.

    Should this field/column be populated and if so, how do I enable this?

    Thanks for that query.  It sort of worked, but not entirely.  For instance I ran the query against our Production database then viewed several servers that I know only have 1 or 2 physical cpu’s, however the query displayed them similar to:
