Also tried removing “-noprofile” and it still gets the error like the module is not loaded.

The term ‘get-clustergroup’ is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function
, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a pat
h was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

From the server in a cmd window I ran C:\Windows\System32\WIndowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -noprofile -command “& { Get-ClusterGroup }” and returned the same error.  I removed -noprofile and it worked.  Again from a cmd window on the server.

Here are the parameters of the task:

    C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe

    -noprofile -command “& { get-clustergroup | FT -AutoSize }”

I’d love to use powershell but can’t get the failoverclusters module to load.  I created the “Microsoft.PowerShell_profile.ps1” file for AllUsersCurrentHost ($profile.AllUsersCurrentHost) and put Import-Module failoverclusters inside the file.  When I open a PS windows on the server the cluster cmdlets are available for me.  But not when I try to run command from a task in SCOM.  Says “get-clustergroup” is not a recognized command etc, etc.

Our group calc is set to every 6 hours – is there a way to determine what time of the day Group Calc is scheduled to run?

So as soon as the subscription is executed you follow it with a script that changes the state to “Notified”?  That sounds like a pretty simple solution.  I assume your subscription that sends the notifications is set to do so when the resolution state is “New” correct?

OK – let me go through it and I’ll post. Yes, I found that link as well but didn’t apply.

That’s correct. Even when I revert back to the XML file after using it to create the sealed MP the groups do the same thing until I edit and save them.  Then they show data.

There’s a lot of information in the XML that I don’t think I can share. Maybe a particular section of XML?

I waited about 1.5 hours and still no group members. Enable Group Population is on as well. I also checked the Populate (group name) Discovery is enabled and it is.

What if we were to find some of these dynamic groups configured with a large query and disable the “Enable Group Population” checkbox and see if that makes a difference? Would that work for now while we determine where these groups are being used before we change their configuration?

About 75% of the 525 custom groups are dynamic groups. I did change the calculation interval to 2 hours and we have 143 MP’s installed.

Time must be set to UTC time. Everything I query is 4 hours behind. Is there a place to set that?
