I’m using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 management pack version 188.8.131.52. Recently, it began discovering new instances of the installation seed class, and I’m not sure why. When I look at the XML for the installation seed discovery, it appears to be looking for the existence of either of these 2 registry keys: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Machines or HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Machines. Neither of these 2 keys exist on the server that is being discovered. Any other explanation of why this server is suddenly being discovered as an instance of the SQL Server 2014 Installation Seed class?
