Hello, we have a single server with WSUS, SCUP and SCCM 2007R3 running on the same machine (don’t ask, I inhertied this setup!!). Now I would like to patch third party SW using SCCM and I installed certificate in SCUP 2011 as per the online blogs using self signed certificates. Its not the stage yet to install the cert on clients so have not done that yet, as I would like to publish the udpates first succesfully into SCCM. Now after installing a new cert, removing any old ones and rebooting the server, I am getting an error message:

“Publish: A fatal error occurred during publishing :Signature verification exception during resign, verify the WSUS certificates and advanced timestamp setting are properly configured.”.
    Any ideas?suggestions?

at what stage are you getting this error? Yo are using the Self-Signed WSUS cert created in SCUP yes? Have you added it to the Trusted Publishers and Trusted Root CA? If you are trying to publish to the SCCM server and then getting this error it may be a proxy issue

So I recolved this issue by stripping down the misconfigured setup, started from Scratch, installed WSUS, SCUP, integrated WSUS with SCCM, then SCUP with WSUS, and it all started working. I shall attach a document how it was done shortly.

    Thanks all for the help.
