    hello

    I’m using VSAE 2017 to author my management packs. I wand to add KnowledgeAtricles to my MP but how should I do this?

    I know that I have to use xml for this like:

    <KnowledgeArticles>
    <KnowledgeArticle ElementID=”__PGParam_002___Seed.ClassServersDiscovery” Visible=”true”>
    <MamlContent>
    <maml:section xmlns:maml=”http://schemas.microsoft.com/maml/2004/10″>
    <maml:title>Summary</maml:title>
    <maml:para>The logical disk volume is not available. The data stored on the volume is inaccessible.</maml:para>
    </maml:section>

    </MamlContent>
    </KnowledgeArticle>
    </KnowledgeArticles>

    But in which xml fragment should I put this code?

    Thanks in advance

    Coen

    Hi Coen,

    It doesn’t really matter where you put this xml code in your project, as fas as I know.

    I use a different (empty) MPĀ  fragment and store this in a folder within the project, just for reference.

    I think there are also people who put the xml code for the Knowledge Articles in each mpx file of each monitor.

    I prefer to combine it all together in 1 specific mpx file
