This will bring in the local computer description that we are planning using to show the location¬† and department of the device- example: Rm 266 Information Technology. If this attribute in included in the query when right clicking on the device entry the “Start” menu option is grayed out and therefore I am unable to select “Remote Control”.¬† I have added elements that others have said are required to makes “Remote Control” active –

SMS_R_System.ResourceType

SMS_R_System.OperatingSystemNameandVersion

SMS_R_System.ClientType

SMS_R_System.ResourceId

But sadly still no.

Here is the query, I removed the supposed require elements since they had not effect –

select SMS_R_System.Name, SMS_R_System.LastLogonUserName, SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM.Description, SMS_R_System.IPAddresses, SMS_R_System.operatingSystem from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM on SMS_G_System_OPERATING_SYSTEM.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId
