We are troubleshooting some WMI related issues on our Domain Controllers, and as part of that I have removed the DNS Management Pack.  But, I am now getting the following alert, that appears to be related to the DNS Management Pack:

Management Configuration Service group failed to perform delta synchronization work item for a period of time. Last error message (if available): Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ManagementConfiguration.DataAccessLayer.DataAccessException: Data access operation failed

What can I do to clear out this data or will it eventually resolve itself?
