I need your help to get this sorted out. We have SCSM with several service requests (SR). One SR (for eg new IPAD) has process as follow. User makes the service request => The User’s Manager approve/reject it (first approval) => If approved , another approval is required from the DCEO=> If the DCEO approves , it then only a manual activity (IT part) is triggered. The DCEO must only receives approval request when the first one is approved.
Please advise how we can automate this process. (user logs SR -> Manager Receives Mail for approval => If approved DCEO receives a mail for approval. => if Approved – IT team receives mail the RAs have been approved and they can start implementation/provisioning process.
Note : For simple SR where only Manager’s approval is required – we have successfully implemented it with orchestrator.
