Here are some more details on our Client and the Project:

Who is Microsoft Learning?

Microsoft Learning provides skills assessments, classroom training and labs, e-learning, books, exams and certifications to enable more powerful use of Microsoft technology by people and businesses around the world.

What is a OD Session?

During this session, the group will develop the exam objective domain ”OD”.  The objective domain sessions are designed to flesh out the basic scoping of the exam and enumerate a detailed definition of skills and/or product expertise exam candidates should have … basically, the participants will be creating the specs for the exam.  A facilitator will guide the group through exercises that will move Microsoft Learning from a simple exam title to a fully fleshed out domain of objectives that Microsoft Learning can eventually test candidates on.  These sessions are the crucial first steps and will completely determine the direction for development of the exam questions.

What are the next steps?

The basic process follows:

1) Reply to this email with your resume ASAP if you are interested and available.

2)   If you are chosen to participate, we will contact you and complete the contract.

3)   The Client will make all final decisions by EOD, Wednesday, September 7th, 2011.

Lastly, it is very important to note that all SMEs involved with this exam development project will need to be able to agree to the following Conflict of Interest Agreement:

Conflict of Interest Agreement

SMEs who participate in exam development cannot participate in training development or deliver training that could be considered part of the learning path for this certification exam or credential for at least 1 year after signing the agreement.

Thank you for your time and your consideration.  We hope to hear from you if you think this is a good fit for you.

Best regards,

Lisa Kreissler
