Bad Kitty post a question under Operations Manager.
Best way to monitor AD changes
Hey guys, we want to monitor Active DIrectory 2008 for changes. Should we be using ACS or would something simpler like Tommy's pack? Windows 2008 Active Directory Security Audit MP (for SCE 2010 and OpsMgr 2007 R2)

Hyper-V max vCPUs
Hey guys, is 4 really the max vCPUs we can setup on Hpyer-V 2008 R2 SP1? How do you address this in VMware environments when you're trying to do comparison testing? Any help would be really appreciated.

Will SCOrch 2012 have it's own reporting interface?
Hey guys, I have seen a couple of presentations that say "Reporting and Analytics" when referring to the new web service in SCOrch. Is that implying it will have it's own reporting interface?
Bad Kitty RE: SCSM 2010 SP1 An error occurred while executing a custom action:_RunSMScripts (Requested registry access is not allowed.)
I think you could use RegMon to monitor for which key it is. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896652
Bad Kitty RE: SCSM2012: Portal: No CMDB access through the web portal?
Hey Wilson, I have never found a way to do this and it does not seem to be the way they intend for the portal to be used. I think tickets and requests through the portal and CIs only through the full console.

You could do this with PowerShell using the Get-Agent cmdlet in the OpsMgr Command Shell. Have you tried this yet?

And it looks like there is something similar in the Cloud Services Process Pack?

Hey guys, I have created some custom properties in VMM 2012, and I would like them to be imported into Service Manager via the VMM connector. Is there any way for me to control this in Service Manager?

I went through the SCE 2010 training and thought it was really good, but the product is not so easy for small-to-medium shops. When you have enterprise tools like Opsmgr and VMM in the background, its kinda hard to make things simple. :(

Hey guy, I inherited this management group some time ago, and in Product Connectors I see a connector called ResetAlert Connector. Does anyone know where this connector would have come from? Is it installed by defafult and I just never noticed?
