Issue with XSNMP Management Pack on SCOM 2007 R2. The PowerShell script will be dropped because the it has been waiting in the queue for more than 10 minutes.
Hello, we have a brand new SCOM 2007 R2 installation with multiple network devices added to SCOM monitoring. I downloaded and imported the xsnmp MP to monitor Cisco network devices in our environment, however I see bunch of errors in the event log pertaining to some PS scripts that are trying to run on the management server to which the network devices are using as a Proxy. To eliminate the possibility of Management server being corrupt, I changed the proxy settings to an another MS in our environment and now the alerts with event IDs 22411 and 1103 crop up once every second. Here is an extract of the alert: Event 22411: The PowerShell script will be dropped because the it has been waiting in the queue for more than 10 minutes. Script Name:    IFStatistics.ps1 (Also, the same error for another PS Script DiscoverInterfaceName.ps1 ) One or more workflows were affected by this.  Workflow name: xSNMP.Monitor.InterfacePercentUtilization Instance nam

MonitoringHost.exe process consuming lots of CPU
Yes, yes. The same issue that has been discussed a lot in the past but not remediated. Until Now- with the help of my fellow community members. The issue is that there is a management server with multiple theads of monitoringhost.exe and consumes almost all of memory and CPU utilization. However, the other MS are not having the same issue. Maybe as I have all SNMP based devices get managed by this(XSNMP MP is being used for CIsco devices).  Kevin Holman recommends that its due to XSML6 issue. http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2009/07/20/do-you-randomly-see-a-monitoringhost-exe-process-consuming-lots-of-cpu.aspx I tried installing the Windows6.0-KB968967-x64. I tried installing the hotfix listed but it says that its not applicable to this system. I am running Windows 2008 R2 w SP1 and SCOM 2007R2. Any  suggestions? This is rendering the MS practically useless due to no free resources available. Kapil Dham

2012 is not an option as this is a Production environment and we cannot implement a RTM into Prod yet. Any one has experience working with XSNMP MP?

David, team, I had the similar issues with my brand new SCOM 2007R2 implementation with the same two error codes like Event ID 11771 , 10401 and 4001. I added each node's computer account as a local admin to the other node;s local admin group and the erro...

And please don't say Effective Configuration Viewer, as I tried making it work with 2007R2 and it returns "Unhandled exception error". Also, I tried the route with "Administration>>Operations Manager>>Agent>>Show running Rules and Monit...

Hello, we needed to see if in case of a cluster failure we could fail over to a management server in another region and once the cluster was back up and operational, we could fail back the RMS role. Hence this exercise.

Guys, looks like we missed some steps while listing the failover and failback steps. I tried the following steps and here is a correct sequence for failing over RMS role from a Cluster to a Stand Alone management server and failing back to the clustered R...
