Orchestrator Web Service - RC1 to RC2 issue when reusing database
Has anyone else had a problem installing the latest RC release (version 7.0.1085.0) using the same database as was used in the initial RC release? The latest version is what ships with the Unified Installer. We had the original RC installed and running happily, but it was suggested to install the latest version because of the integration of a security tab in the Invoke Runbook task. After uninstalling the app on our mgmt server and then reinstalling the new version, but pointing to the original db, the Runbook Designer and the Deployment Manager both worked fine. However, I could not get the Orchestrator Console to load. I kept getting errors that it could not access the web service. I tried whatever I could find online - changing the sites to point to the Orchestrator Web Features app pool and changing the app pool from Classic to Integrated - but it still would not work.
