AVIcode 5.7  is here, integrated into the Microsoft System Center Suite, about time! I for one have been working with the product for 4 years and seen it change from a Dev heavy tool into a production monitoring solution. With the introduction if Advisor and uX as it was called or CSM (Client Side Monitoring) we really saw a huge leap to a must have tool for .Net applications. Has anything changed in 5.7 from the native AVIcode versions? Yes, there seems to me to be a certain amount of ‘dulling’ of the alerts and a neatness around the deployment of the agent and the Application monitoring.

I’ll go into this in further detail this week, but the key issues I want to note are the Licensing, which is an area that I think that we all wanted to know, here is is taken from the Microsoft Web Site
