Our winner for week 3 is Oskar Landman of the Netherlands. This week Oskar offered up part 1 of what promises to be an excellent MP authoring blog series leveraging the OpsMgr 2007 R2 improvements in the SNMP libraries to create a management pack for NetApp Filer. Oskar is addressing a very important gap here, as the NetApp Filer MP lacks the performance collection and threshold monitoring one would expect in a comprehensive vendor management pack.

We're going to pass a link to NetApp in hopes they take a cue from Oskar on this one. Read more in this first installment chronicling Oskar's efforts to bridge the gap.!

More from Oskar...

Oscar does some great blogging here at System Center Central (http://systemcentercentral.com/blogs/oskarl or RSS) and was recently the subject of on of our first Member Interviews. He also did a nice piece of work of late demonstrating the xml behind an old bug in the recurring performance threshold monitor that was resolved in the R2 release of OpsMgr. Definitely take a moment to review his in depth illustration.
