You can now use Windows Live Writer to submit your blog post to System Center Central. This very post was generated using Live Writer.

Here are the directions for configuring Windows Live Writer to work with System Center Central:

1. Open Windows Live Writer and go to Tools > Accounts.

2. Click on Add…

3. Choose “Other Blog Services” and click Next

4. You will be prompted to complete the “Web address of your blog” to your page on System Center Profile Page, which for me is: http://www.systemcentercentral.com/blogs/xfernal and the UserName and Password. Then click Next.

5. For the “Type of Blog you are using”, select Metaweblog API and add the following URL and click Next:

http://www.systemcentercentral.com/DesktopModules/VivoIndexItem/MetaWeblogHandler.ashx?tabid=143&ModuleId=498

6. Then you will be prompted for a test post, which I selected “No”.

7. The last thing that occurs is you have the chance to set the nickname of your blog.

8. Click Finish and OK and you are ready to start blogging  with Windows Live Writer on System Center Central.
