The first winner in our 2010/2011 post-of-the-week contest (week ending Jul 17th) is Andreas "Tenchuu" Zuckerhut for his creative use of PowerShell to export all management pack icons from all management packs. Definitely a very creative and very useful script created in response to a forum discussion.
What does it do? Powershell Script (For Operations Manager Shell) that exports all Images in the current Management Group's Management Packs into png files to some predefined DestinationPath.
Why would I need that? If you want to reuse the icons in your own management packs, it's the quick and easy way to get ALL OF THEM.
Read the full article and get the script at Export Icons from Management Packs.
